Korang pernah kena tak masalah BSOD ni, biasanya jika pernah guna microsoft Windows akan dapat masalah ni (Layar Biru) pada Windows.BSOD ni  nama penuhnya dipanggil Blue Screen of Death (atau BSoD, Blue Screen, juga bluescreen), atau juga nama rasminya ialah Stop Error [1] atau bug check, adalah error screen yang biasa dialami oleh Microsoft Windows family apabila mengalami critical error, atau system crash yang tak boleh dibaiki.

Semua version dari microsoft Windows biasanya mempunyai masalah ni dari win3.xx, win98, win2000, winXP , win Vista serta Windows 7 dan kemungkinan Windows 8 yang akan datang tapi mungkin nama kena tukar jadi Black Screen Of Death (BSOD) .

Kebiasaan antara tanda-tanda Windows nak kena Blue Screen ini, Komputer korang terasa slow dan berat (melibatkan kerja dan performance) dan kemudian mengakibatkan Windows Crash serta terjadi Bugs yang akhirnya menyebabkan komputer korang tidak boleh Boot Windows sama sekali.

Korang jangan panik dan terburu-buru terus format/menginstall Windows baru (ini last option) atau terus bawa ke Pembaik pulih/Kedai Komputer.Cuba check Error Code yang dikemukakan oleh Blue Screen Tersebut.Contoh seperti gambar dibawah ini.

Biasanya ada 4 cara untuk baiki masalah BSOD ini:

1. Repair installation Windows (guna recovery partition atau CD windows)jika BSOD berpunca dari Windows corrupt atau terjankit virus dan sila format baru sahaja jika dah takboleh baiki.
2. Guna HDD regenarator jika rosak pada bahagian MBR Windows
3. Uninstall driver/software yang bermasalah di safe-mode windows (  Masuk ke safe mode saat masuk ke Windows dengan menekan F8 masa booting Windows, buang driver atau software2 yang menyebabkan Windows mengalami error atau corrupt, restart komputer ) untuk BSOD berpunca dari driver.Korang boleh guna software ni http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/bluescreenview.zip untuk cari software atau driver yang menjadi punca masalah BSOD.
4. Cuci sistem HSF komputer jika BSOD berpunca dari hardware terlalu panas
5. Cuci servis/tukar Ram jika BSOD berpunca dari Ram

MASALAH

Masalah Laptop TOSHIBA SATELLITE L640D ini boleh Power-On.Tapi Blank Screen masa BIOS POST (Power-On Self Test) .

Logo Toshiba tu tak keluar langsung, walaupun dibiarkan Power-On dalam 10minit.Hanya ada lampu led laptop yang menyala.

SOLUTION

Biasanya untuk masalah BIOS tak keluar ni, hanya cara Flash atau program balik  IC BIOS secara manual menggunakan   EEPROM Programmer  sudah boleh menyelesaikan masalah BIOS tidak POST jika cara mencabut bateri CMOS dan cara reset pin jumper reset RTC motherboard tidak berjaya dilakukan.

Tapi untuk masalah Laptop ini, ic bios asal terpaksa ditukar kerana motherboard Laptop gagal POST Bios walaupun IC telah beberapa kali di program semula.

Masalah TOSHIBA SATELLITE L640D berjaya diselesaikan selepas IC BIOS di program baru dan berada dalam keadaan baik.Heatsink dan Kipas juga telah diservis dan dicuci.
